1.0 INTRODUCTION

Mandolite CP-2 is a non-combustible low density material designed for application by the slurry (wet mix) type of spray machine. It was developed primarily for the fire protection of interior structural elements, particularly steelwork and steel decking.

It is premixed in the factory under controlled conditions to ensure an even distribution of the mix components.

Mandolite CP-2 is specifically designed for spray application and is not suitable for direct application by trowel.

2.0 STORAGE

2.1
Mandolite CP-2 must be kept dry until ready for use. It should be stored off the ground, under cover, and away from wet or damp surfaces or areas of very high humidity. Storage temperatures are not critical as long as dry conditions are maintained.

It can be stored up to 12 months from date of shipment under good, dry conditions. Each consignment should be completely used up before the following consignment is started.
